pGEM(R)*-T Vector Sequence

Note: Genetic elements of Promega's plasmid vectors are quality 
tested for their functionality. The sequence of the multiple 
cloning site is confirmed using restriction enzyme digestion, 
but the identity of every base pair of the plasmid 
has not been established by DNA sequencing.  As a result, 
minor errors may exist in the sequence information provided.

*U.S. Pat. No. 4,766,072 has been issued to Promega Corporation for
transcription vectors having two different bacteriophage RNA polymerase
promoter sequences separated by a series of unique restriction sites into
which foreign DNA can be inserted.

The sequence supplied below is that of the circular pGEM(R)-5zf(+) Vector
from which the pGEM(R)-T Vector is derived. The pGEM(R)-T Vector has been 
linearized with EcoR V at base 51 (*) and a T-residue has been added to 
both 3'-ends. The added T is not included in this sequence.
